Senior Actimize SAM Developer (AML)

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a Senior Actimize SAM Developer to be hands-on with design, development, and optimization of AML detection capabilities within Actimize for our banking client that is currently prioritizing solutions for identity threat. This role is critical to enhancing transaction monitoring effectiveness, improving fraud detection accuracy, and ensuring compliance within a banking environment.

Top Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy AML rules using Actimize Designer aligned to client detection strategy
• Analyze, test, and optimize rule performance using Actimize Modeler and SQL
• Build/customize workflows (Java plug-ins, alert flows) and contribute to Agile delivery (PI planning, backlog, etc.)
• Act as an individual contributor with a leader mindset to drive conversations, own deliverables, and execute without guidance.
  
  
  

Required Skills (Must-Haves)

• Senior-level (5–9 years total experience) hands-on with Actimize SAM in delivery role
• Actimize SAM experience (v9.1 )
• Hands-on experience with:
• Actimize Designer
• Actimize Modeler
• Strong rule-writing expertise:
• Thresholds, alert types, custom workflows, detection logic
• SQL (strong): ability to write complex queries across databases
• Java development: experience building Actimize plug-ins
• Agile delivery experience
• Strong communication & leadership:
