The Opportunity
We're looking for an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to work in a team that values quality and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and assemble electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment
- Perform mechanical rebuilds and precision measurements using micrometers, dial indicators, and vibration meters
- Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments
- Record measurements and document all work performed
- Participate in daily discussions around customer projects and workflow improvements
- 5 years of AC/DC motor repair experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes
- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
