Morning starts with a teardown: you’ll dismantle AC and DC electric motors, carefully documenting every finding as you inspect components across sizes through 15,000HP and 13,800v. Precision measurements with micrometers guide part evaluations, while you note clearances and conditions right into tablet-based job packets.
Next Comes Assembly And Test. You’ll Rebuild To Spec, Align And Verify Fits, Then Move To The Test Area To Validate Performance And Insulation Integrity. You Will Use The Following Instruments And Systems As Part Of Your Routine
This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader and works closely with peers across the shop to deliver reliable motors back to our customers.

- Dismantle and perform detailed inspections on AC/DC motors through 15,000HP and 13,800v.
- Assemble, align, and test repaired units to meet specifications.
- Execute electrical and mechanical testing using the listed instruments.
- Record all test data and measurements in tablet-based job packets.
- Comply with Customer standards and internal quality procedures.
