Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, performing various maintenance tasks, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of maintenance duties with attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events or special projects as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they arise.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between locations.
