Heavy Equipment Operator - Concrete Construction Crew
A well-established Nebraska construction company is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our concrete construction crew.
This position will primarily operate excavators, dozers, skid loaders, and blades in support of commercial and residential concrete projects. If you enjoy running equipment, helping crews stay productive, and taking pride in quality work, we'd like to talk with you.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators for site preparation, grading, and excavation work
- Operate dozers, skid loaders, and blades on concrete and site development projects
- Assist with dirt work, grading, and material movement
- Support concrete crews with site preparation for sidewalks, driveways, foundations, paving, and commercial concrete projects
- Read grade stakes and work with foremen to achieve proper elevations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Assist the crew where needed to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience operating excavators, dozers, and skid loaders
- Experience with grading and dirt work
- Construction experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Valid driver's license required
