This Programmer position is1st shift (core hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30 pm. We feature leading brands in the industry such as Heat & Glo, Majestic, Heatilator, and more, dedicated to advancing fireplace technology and design, reflecting our commitment to exceptional quality and comfort.
A successful CNC Programmer will impact the business byprogramming and maintaining the various programs on the turret punch presses and lasers.
- Work within a fast-paced energetic team.
- Be a part of a continuous improvement culture where you can use your creativity to create value for your customers.
- Utilize CAD and CAM software to program parts for production for CNC machines: flat lasers, tube lasers and turret punch machines.
- Critical thinking is required to prevent safety risks, increased quality and reduced costs.
- Some machine experience (flat laser, tube laser, turret punch press) is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Lean manufacturing experience is desired.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED preferred. Previous experience in similar manufacturing industry and/or vocational training/certificate preferred.
- Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- CAM and CAD experience.
