Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Travel assignment in Hilltop, West Virginia. Start date May 11, 2026. 13-week contract with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay range $1,863–$1,951 per week. Shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a travel – temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Assess and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Conduct swallowing assessments and therapy; provide education on safe swallowing strategies and diet modifications.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive resident care; participate in care planning and rounds.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate residents and families, support discharge planning, and coordinate referrals when appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in West Virginia or eligibility for WV licensure.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to complete required credentialing, background checks, and to comply with facility policies.
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours.
