Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, adjustment, and patient monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, deliver CPR, and execute all aspects of respiratory care
- Manage equipment and documentation: ventilators (including V60, PB 980, PB 840), Para Pac Transport Vent, Pyxis medication management, and computerized charting
- Participate in rounds, respond to respiratory emergencies, and support bedside care
- Ensure patient safety and infection control while delivering high-quality respiratory support
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License required by start date
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- RRT preferred; NRP preferred
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health clearance
