Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative recovery nursing care in the PACU following surgery
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, manage pain and anesthesia recovery
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and discharge readiness
- Administer medications and follow orders with proper documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean recovery area, and support patient comfort and privacy
- Document care, communicate changes, and hand off to the next care team
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours per week)
- Experience or exposure to perioperative recovery or OR settings
