Responsibilities
- Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, supporting surgeons and the anesthesia team
- Coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff to ensure efficient intraoperative workflow
- Maintain patient safety throughout the perioperative phase, including sterile technique and positioning
- Participate in preoperative planning, intraoperative assessment, and nursing treatment planning
- Manage documentation, counts, and specimen labeling; communicate changes to the team as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support a safe and efficient patient experience
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to perform OR circulator duties in a surgical/perioperative environment
