Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising physical therapist in evaluating and treating patients in the LTAC/skilled nursing rehab program.
- Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM, and modality delivery per the plan of care.
- Monitor patient responses, vital signs as appropriate, and safety during therapy sessions; report changes to the supervising PT.
- Document treatment provided and patient progress clearly and timely; maintain accurate records per policy.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional goals; support discharge planning and care coordination with the rehab team.
- Maintain a safe and organized therapy space, manage equipment, and adhere to infection control and privacy guidelines.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to work in a LTAC/skilled nursing rehabilitation setting
- Availability for a 5x8 day schedule with guaranteed 35 hours per week
- Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment
- Agencies must have NM Caregivers account (per job notes)
