Responsibilities
- Provide integrated, holistic nursing care to Med Surg patients, coordinating with the health care team to address priority health needs.
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing services with patient- and family-centered education to support optimum health.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor patient status, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to develop and implement care plans; participate in ongoing rounds and discharge planning.
- Adhere to Montana Nurse Practice Acts and professional standards; maintain compliance with facility policies and safety protocols.
- Support adult Med Surg populations, with occasional pediatric considerations, while maintaining quality care during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active Montana registered nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in a Med Surg setting and participate in a 3x12 night shift schedule
- Strong communication, bedside assessment, and teamwork skills
