Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology imaging procedures in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional suites following department procedures.
- Set up imaging equipment, position patients for procedures, and obtain diagnostic-quality images with attention to safety and radiation protection.
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager; monitor patient condition during procedures.
- Exercise independent judgment and initiative in equipment use, procedure setup, and troubleshooting; escalate when needed.
- Maintain sterile technique, procedural readiness, and accurate documentation of procedures and images.
Requirements
- Ability to perform a broad range of interventional procedures in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings with independent judgment.
- Proficiency in setting up equipment, patient positioning, and obtaining quality diagnostic images; strong attention to radiation safety.
