Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement an ICU care plan and provide bedside nursing care in accordance with medical orders.
- Lead and coordinate nursing care, delegating tasks to appropriate team members and overseeing staff functions to ensure proper patient placement.
- Communicate relevant patient information clearly to the healthcare team; participate in patient conferences and discharge/transfer planning.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and adjust care as needed; document care and outcomes to support continuity.
- Mentor and precept new staff and students; serve as a team leader to support staffing and assignment decisions.
- Maintain professional growth by pursuing educational opportunities and applying evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (required)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS (required)
- Comfortable with floating to ED and Step Down units (required)
- Nice-to-have: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN (documentation preferred)
- Travel experience and ability to commit to a 13-week assignment (preferred)
- Valid in-state license and ability to work in the listed setting
