Responsibilities
- Assist with angiography and neuro/special procedures under radiologist supervision
- Operate interventional radiology imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, while maintaining image quality and radiation safety
- Prepare the procedure room, assist with patient positioning, barrier protection, and sterile technique
- Monitor patient status during and after procedures, document findings, and ensure accurate procedure documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to support efficient case flow and patient care
- Respond to on-call requests for weekends and holidays with a 20-minute intent-to-respond window
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and neuroradiology settings; able to document IR and neuro procedure experience
- Education: Radiologic Technology program (associate degree or higher) and related certification
- Certification: Radiologic Technology certification (ARRT) or equivalent; IR/Special Procedures experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital IR lab environment and participate in a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage with a 20-minute response time
