Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the cath lab, including left and right heart cath, PCI/PTCA, and stent placement
- Assist with device implants/closures and IABP placement/removal; support rotablator atherectomy as needed
- Serve as scrub and circulating staff to maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Prepare equipment, monitor patient status, and document findings and outcomes in the EPIC charting system
- Collaborate with the interventional team, respond to life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintain focus on sterile technique and efficient patient turnover
Requirements
- New York state license in hand
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year cath lab experience (diagnostic and interventional)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), CCI RCIS
- Ability to scrub and circulate; on-call and float responsibilities
- Comfort working in a fast-paced diagnostic & interventional cath lab environment
