Responsibilities

• Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for invasive cardiac procedures, including setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment; maintain sterile technique
• Function across multiple roles on the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor
• Assist with Right Heart and Left Heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO/PCI, pericardiocentesis, and vascular interventions as applicable; work with advanced devices as needed
• Support mechanical circulatory support workflows and assist with equipment troubleshooting to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Ensure accurate documentation, equipment readiness, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards; communicate effectively with the interventional team
  
  

Requirements

• Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824
• 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
• RCIS certification through CCI or ARRT (preferred) or eligible under NYS 2824 requirements
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• COVID-19 vaccination with a fully completed series (documented vaccination card)
• Ability to work in a hospital setting; capable of fulfilling 10-hour shifts and on-call requirements as needed
• Demonstrated experience in Right and Left Heart hemodynamics and related interventions; critical care or cardiac experience is expected
