Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to assigned patients within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
• Monitor patient status, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the care team
• Support patient rights and dignity, collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
• Document care in the medical record accurately and timely; maintain competency with required equipment
• Adhere to infection control procedures, safety protocols, and CPR/BLS requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Current Alaska LPN license in good standing
• Active CPR certification (BCLS) and BLS required
• IV certification course (or completion required)
• Minimum education: graduate from an approved LPN/LVN program
• Experience: New graduates accepted; 1 year hospital or long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and meet credentialing requirements for the assignment
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination required prior to start
