Responsibilities

• Deliver post-anesthesia care for PACU/ASU patients, including recovery, monitoring, and stabilization
• Assess patient status, monitor vitals, airway, breathing, circulation, and pain control; respond to changes promptly
• Administer prescribed medications and interventions; titrate analgesia and manage sedation as directed
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and PACU staff to achieve safe patient transitions and discharge readiness
• Document care accurately in the medical record and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in weekend call rotation and other schedule requirements as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Pre-admission testing experience is a MUST
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled
