Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an outpatient care environment across FP, BH, OB, and UC departments
• Triage patient concerns, obtain vital signs, and assist with examinations
• Administer prescribed medications and injections in accordance with orders; support basic nursing procedures
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms, assist with minor procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient encounters and interventions in the electronic health record; coordinate referrals and follow-up as directed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-visit instructions; communicate effectively with diverse populations
• May be asked to support coverage at additional clinic locations as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Active LPN license in Hawaii
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Clinic/outpatient experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital-based outpatient setting
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM–6:00 PM; willingness to travel to additional locations for coverage
• Ability to meet an 80-hour per two-week schedule
