Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient group using established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, identify diagnoses and care issues
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a care plan; administer treatments and monitor patient response
• Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education and treatment team information
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties, maintaining a safe, healing environment
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience
• BSN: Preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in an acute care setting
• Experience with Epic and Cerner EHRs is preferred for backfill considerations
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
