Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses; manage multiple medications with safety as a priority
• Perform IV insertion and line management; operate IV pumps; ensure line integrity
• Monitor and document vital signs; recognize changes; escalate concerns to the care team promptly
• Provide airway support as needed (CPAP/BiPAP) and assist with respiratory status management
• Support patients with activities of daily living; wound care including Wound Vac; enteral feeding tubes as required
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team; complete timely documentation and handoffs; float to other MS areas as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in Missouri
• Education: Nursing degree (ADN or BSN)
• Med-Surgical experience with exposure to multiple medications; safety-focused practice
• Willingness to float to other MS areas as needed
• Start date 04/27/2026; nights shift; contract length 13 weeks
• Must provide current CEU documentation during the interview process
• Ability to work in a hospital-based Medical-Surgical unit and manage up to 8 patients when needed
