Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting during the night shift
• Monitor residents’ conditions, administer medications and treatments per orders, and document responses
• Perform nursing assessments, update care plans, and communicate changes to the care team
• Respond to resident needs, call bells, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for timely interventions
• Ensure accurate shift handoffs, maintain safety and infection control practices, and support residents’ comfort and dignity
• Complete timely charting and documentation, including assessments, medications, therapies, and discharges or transfers as appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in Kansas or eligibility to obtain licensure
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of licensed nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Graduation from an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and align with a Thurs–Wed work week
