Overview

Registered Nurse (Long-Term Care) in Goddard, Kansas. Travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility starting 04/06/2026 (approximately two weeks from offer or sooner) for 9 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,004 to $2,089 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. This is a travel - temporary assignment within a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications and treatments per policy and procedure
• Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer routine and PRN medications, perform procedures within scope, and ensure safe medication administration practices
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, provide wound care, and support rehabilitation goals as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage families and team members as appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license (Kansas) or eligibility for licensure by endorsement (travel requirements may apply)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Relevant experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
• Ability to work days with the required weekend rotation; strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing facility environment and adhering to regulatory standards
