Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography examinations (primarily transthoracic) and acquire high-quality images
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position the patient, monitor for comfort and safety, and document findings according to department protocol
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; optimize imaging parameters and ensure image quality
• Collaborate with cardiology and radiology staff to coordinate exams, review results, and ensure accurate case reporting
• Maintain patient records, manage workflow, and assist with scheduling and patient coordination as needed
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in department education sessions as required
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to work in a hospital setting
• Must attend department quarterly education sessions
• License and certification requirements as indicated in the job notes (exact details to be confirmed during hiring)
• Experience and education requirements will be defined per job notes and validated during the selection process
• Availability to work a Day shift in a travel assignment and adapt to a hospital schedule
