Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with pediatric and adult protocols, ensuring accurate patient positioning and protocol selection for diagnostic quality
• Safely administer and monitor contrast media as required, and address any adverse reactions per facility and safety guidelines
• Operate CT equipment, adjust technical factors, optimize image quality, and perform necessary post-processing or reconstructions
• Verify patient identity, review orders, explain procedures, and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the exam
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure timely communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards
• Maintain equipment readiness, participate in quality assurance activities, and document procedures and findings in patient records
  
  

Requirements

• Active radiologic technologist licensure/certification as required by the state of Vermont (or eligible/credentialed equivalent) and ARRT certification preferred
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; completion of an accredited program
• CT imaging experience preferred; training provided for travel assignments as needed
• Ability to work a set dayshift schedule in a fast-paced imaging environment and comply with safety, privacy, and documentation requirements
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and maintain professional conduct in a remote work-like travel setting
