Pathology Assistant – Cambridge, MA. Start date 05/18/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a laboratory setting that supports patient care across a network of facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures under supervision, following established procedures and quality controls to support accurate results
• Process and prepare specimens for testing, including basic specimen handling and data entry to maintain specimen integrity
• Operate standard laboratory equipment and monitor instrumentation for proper function and quality control indicators
• Enter and review data in the electronic medical record (EPIC) as applicable, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of results
• Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and laboratory staff to maintain smooth workflow and timely turnaround times
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements to maintain a compliant laboratory environment
  
  

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
• Experience: 2 years of experience in the specialty; phlebotomy training and experience preferred
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS certification
• EMR experience: EPIC experience preferred
• Licenses/IDs: Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
• Submission requirements: RTO must be included at time of submission
