Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative support across orthopedic, neurological, robotic-assisted, vascular, general, urology, and gynecology procedures, including instrument handling and passing
• Prepare operating spaces, set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for cases while maintaining sterile technique
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, instrument counts, specimen handling, and coordination with the surgical team
• Monitor equipment function and communicate with anesthesia and surgeons to anticipate needs and maintain patient safety
• Support turnover between cases, document intraoperative information per protocol, and help with room readiness for subsequent procedures
• Ensure proper disposal of sharps and contaminated materials and assist with room cleanup following procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Experience supporting OR procedures in orthopedic, neurological, robotic, vascular, general, urology, or gynecology specialties
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, instrument handling, and safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with on-call availability as required
• Effective teamwork and communication skills; reliability and adaptability in a travel assignment
