Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist within a skilled nursing setting
• Implement and modify treatment plans based on PT direction, including therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Assist with gait training, ROM, strengthening, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks
• Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising PT
• Prepare treatment spaces, set up equipment, and maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy environments
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, OT, and other staff) to support patient goals and care plans
• Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises and activity strategies to support ongoing progress

• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026
• Willingness to work a 5x8 day shift (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the assignment and report to the facility as scheduled
