Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising occupational therapist in implementing and adjusting individualized treatment plans
• Conduct therapeutic activities and therapeutic media to improve or maintain patients’ functional abilities and independence
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed, ensuring safety, dignity, and patient comfort
• Monitor patient responses, document progress, and report changes to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and comply with standard precautions and infection control practices
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support discharge planning and continuity of care
  
  

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification
• NH state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in New Hampshire
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week and the listed shift
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to adapt to new facilities and patient populations
