Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of an occupational therapist per the plan of care
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve or maintain functional independence
• Document resident progress, changes in status, and response to therapy in the medical record
• Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatment plans and communicate with care staff for safe and effective care
• Ensure equipment and therapy areas are used safely and maintained in good condition
  
  

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Ability to work a daytime shift in a skilled nursing environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to follow established plans of care and collaborate with the rehab team
