Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT, delivering components of established treatment plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and functional tasks to promote independence
• Monitor and document resident progress, responses to therapy, and any changes in status; report to supervising OT
• Maintain therapy equipment and the treatment space, ensuring safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including nursing and rehabilitation staff, to support resident goals
• Complete timely, accurate documentation within the facility’s charting system and adhere to privacy regulations
  
  

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Ability to work the listed shift (days) within a 13-week travel assignment
• Comfortable performing duties under supervision and following established care plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Fundamental documentation ability and attention to resident safety and privacy
• Eligibility to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to a new setting for the duration of the contract
