Our West Coast client is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a 3 month engagement to support an on-going ERP implementation. This senior-level PM will partner with the existing team to drive Phase 2 of the initiative.
While there is a preference for candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area, non-local candidates are encouraged to apply, with the expectation of 2 – 4 days of travel per month.
Role Overview: This role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technical projects from initiation through completion. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of delivery, including scope, requirements, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Phase 2 of a large-scale ERP implementation, partnering closely with internal teams and stakeholders
- Manage full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across Finance, HR, and Student Systems domains
- Monitor project health, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies
- Drive delivery of custom development, reporting, integrations, and middleware solutions tied to the ERP ecosystem
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality expectations
- Lead high-visibility, mission-critical initiatives with significant organizational impact
- Influence program strategy, policies, and execution across enterprise administrative systems
- Apply advanced project management frameworks and methodologies to complex environments
- Navigate highly complex challenges requiring in-depth analysis and strategic problem-solving
- Extensive experience managing large-scale ERP implementations or re-implementations
- Strong understanding of enterprise administrative systems (Finance, HR, Student Systems)
- Experience within higher education and/or healthcare environments preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex system interdependencies, stakeholder expectations, and post-go-live optimization
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
