Clinical Leadership & Operations
- Lead all nursing operations within the facility
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
- Maintain appropriate staffing and skill mix across all shifts
- Drive accountability and performance across the nursing team
- Own and improve key clinical outcomes (falls, wounds, infections, rehospitalizations)
- Lead QAPI initiatives and performance improvement efforts
- Monitor and respond to trends in Quality Measures (QMs)
- Maintain continuous survey readiness
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations (CMS, AHCA)
- Lead survey processes, audits, and plans of correction
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing leadership and staff
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and recognition
- Coach and mentor team members to drive growth and retention
- Partner with interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and leadership
- Serve as a key leader within the building’s management team
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required)
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility (required)
- Regulatory compliance and survey process
- MDS, PDPM, and reimbursement fundamentals
- Quality Measures and QAPI
- Demonstrated success leading teams and improving clinical outcomes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A confident, hands-on leader who takes ownership of building performance
- Someone who can balance clinical excellence with team development
- A professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- A leader who is committed to making a meaningful impact on residents and staff
