We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. The PTA provides rehab and therapy services under the supervision of Physical Therapists and the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications:
Ability to present a positive attitude, and carry out respectful relationships and communication with residents, peer staff, families, guests, and vendors.
- Have a clear and active Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license with the State of Florida.
- Have a valid CPR certification.
- Have a clear level II background screen.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to lift 60-70lbs frequently.
- Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit, push/pull) intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
- Knowledgeable of therapy practices and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations specific to therapy.
- Other qualifications as outlined in the Job Description.
- Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapists and plans of care.
- Record clinical documentation and daily treatment changes.
- Communicate with team members and providers regarding resident progress, problems and plans.
- Routinely verify department equipment is in clean and working order.
