Position Overview: Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under supervision. Responsible for direct patient supervision and indirect oversight of rehabilitation technicians, with general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Ensures treatment aligns with departmental policies, standards, and organizational values.
- Qualifications: Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy; current or temporary state licensure; BLS certification; preferred 6 months to 1 year of experience with adult and geriatric care.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks involving gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
- Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, implement treatment programs, supervise patients and staff, and adhere to safety and organizational standards.
