- Providing direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
- Overseeing PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.
- Ensuring treatment aligns with departmental policies, standards, and organizational values.
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: BLS certification; must be current prior to independent patient care.
- Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of experience, especially with adult and geriatric care.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
