Role/Responsibilities:

JD as below

• Lead Design and Development activities relating to life cycle engineering projects
• Lead Design Control and documentation across the life cycle of the product
• Lead Design Change activities to Mitigate Product Complaints
• Execute CAD Drawing and Modeling as per the Project Scope
• Lead Design verification testing including Developing Test matrix, conducting the required engineering tests and report generation.
• Act as subject matter expert for all ECR’s (Engineering Change Request)
• Lead Design Documentation reviews and DFMEA revisions
• Develop tolerance stack up analysis for new and existing tool
• Draft and review documentation/Protocol related to procedures, special instruction & reports etc.
• Develop Verification and validation strategies for end to end process validation
• Experience in a medical device industry or other regulated environment
• Requires familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and with rapid development of prototyping solutions
• Develop and utilize 3D CAD models, FMEA's, GD&T, tolerance analysis, FEA, DOE's, simulated use testing, and statistical analysis to support medical device/system design.
• Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing, along with setting up and running laboratory simulations.
• Conduct and/or participate in technical design reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, etc.
• Understanding of surgery, surgical procedures, and the design and application of surgical devices, as well as the quality system / regulatory environment preferred
• Excellent collaboration, proven technical leadership capabilities, and conflict resolution skills
• Work one-on-one with customer stakeholders to identify procedure and/or product opportunities and evaluate potential technical solutions
• Provide innovative product, system & component design solutions
• Understanding of GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and Regulations

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $42.0 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $47.00 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
