Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine financial strategies that align with the organization’s short- and long-term objectives.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports, translating complex data into meaningful insights for leadership decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, and compliance risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in account reconciliation processes, maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements including GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable & accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to optimize financial performance and sustainability.
- Ensure full compliance with governmental accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements, GAAP standards, coordinating with external auditors as needed.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within financial operations.
- Provide financial guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA, CPA candidate, or CMA designation is required.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Written and verbal fluency in both Mandarin and English is required.
- Proven experience in financial management, including taxation and auditing practices.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
- Proficiency in risk analysis methodologies and investment management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail, particularly in account reconciliation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Proficiency and hand-on experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4 HANA is highly preferred
- Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
