An independently operated restaurant and tavern in Upper Bucks County is seeking an experienced Head Chef and Sous Chef to join its culinary team.

We are looking for passionate, hands-on professionals who appreciate quality ingredients, thoughtfully prepared American cuisine, and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidates will bring creativity, strong culinary fundamentals, and a commitment to consistency and teamwork.

Head Chef | $60,000–$80,000

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise culinary staff.
• Oversee menu development, seasonal specials, and food quality.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, food costs, and kitchen efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
• Train and develop a motivated, professional kitchen team.

Qualifications:

• Proven kitchen leadership experience
• Strong culinary skills
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and cost management

Sous Chef | $55,000–$70,000

Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and service.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure consistent food quality.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost control.
• Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous Sous Chef or senior line cook experience
• Strong cooking fundamentals
• Organizational skills
• The ability to thrive in a team-oriented kitchen
