SDET / QA Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote/Hybrid)
NTT DATA is hiring an experienced SDET / QA Engineer with strong hands-on automation skills across web, API and CI/CD environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automation platforms from the ground up, working across multiple teams, and driving quality engineering in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What you’ll do
- Build and implement automated testing solutions to support multiple development teams
- Work across web, API and database technology stacks
- Design and stand up testing toolsets, frameworks and automation platforms
- Develop automated tests using Cypress, REST Assured, Playwright or Karate
- Contribute to development work in Angular, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Jenkins and uDeploy
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery
- Use monitoring and observability tools for proactive incident resolution
- Deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment
- Collaborate with engineers to improve stability, performance and product quality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocate for adoption
What you’ll bring
- Must have hands-on experience in Playwright, REST Assured or Cypress
- 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with a Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years designing automation test platforms
- Minimum 5 years architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong coding background (Angular, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS)
- Experience working with cloud platforms; AWS preferred
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, QA methodologies and best practices
- Ability to thrive in high-demand, fast-moving environments
- Passion for experimentation, problem solving and building scalable test solutions
