Desktop Support Specialist II - Fort Myers, Florida (On-site)
We're working with CAI to find a Desktop Support Specialist II. This is an exciting opportunity to provide crucial level 2 technical support, contributing to the smooth operation of our client's IT infrastructure and directly assisting over 2500 county staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide level 2 technical support using PDQ Connect, Quick Assist, and remote desktop.
• Document user requests, diagnostic steps, and resolutions thoroughly in ServiceNow.
• Install and troubleshoot desktop hardware, peripherals, and printers.
• Activate and manage cell phones/tablets through O365/MDM.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts to automate repetitive support tasks.
• Participate in small-scale infrastructure upgrades and support endpoint hardening initiatives.
What You'll Need:
• Experience providing Level 2 desktop support in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with remote support tools such as PDQ Connect, Quick Assist, and Remote Desktop.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Knowledge of O365 and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Familiarity with Intune and group policy configuration.
