Your new role:
You will be responsible for delivering commercial construction interior projects from inception through completion. Likely you would be managing 3-4 projects at various stages simultaneously and range from $500K – $5M. Projects can include private and public work including historic preservations, structural core & shell upgrades, building facades, as well as full corporate renovations and fit-outs.
You will be supported by a dedicated preconstruction, accounting, and administrative team in the office, as well as a Superintendent in the field. Your primary responsibilities will include contract management, financial oversight, schedule management, along with leading all correspondence with the client and key vendors.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 6 years’ experience working for a general contractor delivering interior construction projects in the values of $500K - $5M range.
- Ideally you will have mixed commercial construction experience including medical, retail and office.
- Have led projects as a Project Manager position where you been responsible for the full delivery of your projects.
- Degree qualified preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable with being on-site visiting job sites across the DC and Northern VA area.
