Job Description
The Interiors Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers across multiple commercial interiors projects
- Managing document control including RFIs, submittals, and project tracking
- Assisting in running OAC meetings and coordinating project stakeholders
- Participating in estimating, scoping, and developing change orders
- Taking ownership of specific trades during the bidding process
- Sourcing subcontractor pricing and compile trade packages for bids
- Stepping in to oversee smaller projects or subsets of larger jobs when needed
- Working on commercial office interiors ranging from 10K-100K sq. ft.
- Collaborating with project teams from bid stage through completion
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Interiors Assistant Project Manager Should Have
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience (interiors preferred)
- Procore proficiency is essential
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong knowledge of document control processes (RFIs, submittals)
- Exposure to estimating or preconstruction activities preferred
- Ability to work independently while supporting senior leadership
- Ambition to grow into a Project Manager role within 18-24 months
- Experience engaging with subcontractors and trade coordination
