Desktop Support Technician (Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team and provide exceptional technical support for our corporate and remote locations. This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday, where you’ll handle desktop technologies, mobile devices, peripherals, and applications while assisting with desktop-related projects.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor internal ticket systems and complete PC builds and deployments.
- Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) to meet customer needs.
- Respond to support queries promptly and ensure tickets meet SLA requirements.
- Assist with basic in-house requests (e.g., replacing cables, setting up projectors, moving computers).
- Support desktop services team and complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing ladders, and pulling wire.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications (Preferred): A , Microsoft, ITIL Foundations, Apple Certified Support Professional.
- Experience:2 years in IT support.
- Strong technical knowledge of desktop/application technologies.
- Familiarity with MDM platforms (MobileIron, Jamf).
- Excellent communication skills and basic understanding of IT security principles and ITIL/ITSM processes.
