Position: Mobile Workforce Technician II
The Mobile Workforce Technician II is responsible for performing standard janitorial and facility service tasks at assigned customer locations as part of Hawaiian Building Maintenance mobile workforce team. Technicians will travel with their assigned team to multiple worksites and complete scheduled cleaning tasks according to HBM service standards.
This role focuses on learning HBM cleaning procedures, maintaining consistent quality, and supporting the team in completing daily service routes.
Technician II employees perform routine cleaning duties and are not responsible for operating specialized equipment or handling advanced cleaning chemicals until additional training is completed.
Compensation per hour: $22.00 - $23.00
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Cleaning Services
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
Maintain high-touch disinfection standards
Follow task checklists and HBM cleaning procedures
Team Operations:
Work as part of a mobile team servicing multiple locations
Assist with routine cleaning tasks and equipment setup
Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the workday
Reporting & Documentation
Report supply shortages, access issues, or safety concerns to the team lead
Follow instructions from the Technician Lead and Dispatch Manager
Professional Conduct:
Represent HBM professionally at customer sites
Maintain a clean appearance and respectful demeanor
Follow all company safety policies
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid Hawaii Driver’s license required
Successful completion of a background check
One year of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or a related field (preferred)
Capability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
Consistent attendance and punctuality
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
Strong attention to detail
