What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician/Assistant position at Dale Veterinary Mobile Clinic?
Mobile small animal veterinary practice is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant. Excellent small animal handling skills is the biggest requirement for this job. This practice provides full service veterinary clinic care to windward Oahu and is based out of Kailua. You will be traveling to different locations through the day and facilitating appointments in our mobile clinic. Applicants should be excited to work in all areas of the practice. Computer literacy and the ability to learn practice software is expected. Customer service skills and the ability to work through problems creatively are important expectations of this job. Animal handling is a physically demanding job and you may need to lift up to 50 pounds. While starting pay will be based on experience in the veterinary field, prior experience is not a strict requirement for the right person who is already comfortable with animals.
