Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We are seeking a qualified individual with industry experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Building Engineer or the Account Manager-Engineering, the HVAC Maintenance Technician will be tasked with general maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and property structures, as well as grounds maintenance. Candidates must pass a background check, possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, proficiency in light plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and painting/drywall, all tasks must be performed in accordance with EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety regulations. Excellent communication skills and the capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team are crucial. Perform HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance
Work safely and efficiently on job sites

Maintain tools, equipment, and job documentation
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
General Maintenance Experience Required
HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
EPA 608 Universal Certification (Preferred)
Customer service-oriented approach
Basic mathematical skills
Previous experience in creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders.
Strong attention to detail.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow.

- Position: HVAC Maintenance Technician
- Work Location: Multiple locations across on Oahu
- Schedule: Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm (Subjective to emergencies: after hours, weekends and holidays)
- Compensation per hour: $25.00 - $30.00
