We are bringing on entry level CDL-A drivers for OTR routes operating out of Temple, TX. It makes no difference whether you just walked out of CDL school or have been running miles for a while - if you have a valid CDL and the drive to succeed this position was made for you. Expect consistent loads, strong weekly income, and a guaranteed home time schedule that brings you back every single week without fail.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay starts at $0.70 CPM
• Drivers typically take home between $1,300 and $1,700 per week based on mileage and experience
• Annual income is projected to fall between $67,600 and $88,400
• Weekly mileage runs between 1,800 and 2,000 miles on average
• A $300 bonus is issued to every driver upon successfully completing orientation

Home Time & Schedule

• Drivers head home every single week on a guaranteed and consistent schedule
• Day shift and night shift placements are both offered and available to all drivers

Equipment

• The entire fleet runs on 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadias that receive consistent care and are always in road ready condition
• Automatic transmission is standard on every single truck across the fleet
• Without exception every load is 100% no-touch - drivers are there to drive and nothing else
• All trucks are put through scheduled and rigorous professional maintenance to keep performance at its absolute best

Freight Details

• OTR routes launch out of Temple, TX and reach across all 48 states
• Freight volume is strong, reliable, and completely uninterrupted across every month of the calendar year
• Drivers are set up with structured and clearly mapped out lane assignments and backed at all times by a responsive and capable dispatch team

Driver Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of all Class A tractor-trailer operations on every assigned OTR haul maintaining top level safety and professionalism throughout
• Perform complete and meticulous vehicle inspections both before leaving and after returning from each and every trip
• Maintain ELD logs that are precise, fully current, and in strict compliance with all relevant DOT rules and regulations
• Ensure every piece of freight is properly placed and firmly secured before the truck leaves the yard on each departure
• Stay in professional, clear, and timely contact with dispatch from the very beginning to the very end of every single run

Minimum Requirements

• Possession of a current and valid Class A CDL is a firm and absolute requirement with no exceptions
• Drivers who recently completed CDL training programs are enthusiastically welcomed and encouraged to get their application in
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old at the time they submit their application
• Every candidate must present a driving history that is clean and fully verifiable
• Drug and alcohol clearinghouse status must be completely and entirely clear
• Prior to the start date every candidate must pass both a DOT physical evaluation and a drug screening
