We are actively hiring entry level CDL-A drivers for OTR routes out of Lynchburg, VA. New CDL graduates and drivers with existing experience are both encouraged to throw their hat in the ring. This role is built on strong weekly earnings, steady year round freight, and a reliable two week home time rotation that you can count on every single cycle without exception.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting pay at $0.70 CPM
• Weekly earnings typically between $1,200 and $1,800 based on miles completed and experience
• Estimated yearly earnings ranging from $62,400 to $93,600
• Drivers can expect to run between 1,900 and 2,300 miles every week
• A one-time $300 bonus is paid out once orientation is successfully completed

Home Time & Schedule

• Every two weeks drivers are brought home on a structured and guaranteed rotation
• Both day and night shift options are offered and readily available
• Certain weekend loads may be required depending on freight demand; holiday time off may be formally requested
• Full route and schedule details are shared with every driver well ahead of time for smooth and confident planning

Equipment

• Entire fleet is made up of 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadias that are carefully maintained and perpetually road ready
• Every truck is equipped with automatic transmission delivering a relaxed and effortless driving experience
• All loads are 100% no-touch without exception - the only thing drivers are responsible for is operating the vehicle safely
• Each piece of equipment is put through thorough and regular professional servicing to ensure consistent top level performance

Freight Details

• OTR lanes originating out of Lynchburg, VA with routes stretching across all 48 states
• Loads are plentiful, consistent, and available throughout every single month of the year with no breaks or slow periods
• Every driver receives clearly structured and well organized lane assignments supported by a dependable and highly responsive dispatch team

Driver Responsibilities

• Conduct all Class A tractor-trailer operations on every OTR assignment with a firm and unwavering commitment to both safety and professionalism
• Carry out thorough and detailed vehicle inspections before departing and upon returning from each and every haul
• Keep all ELD records accurate, up to date, and in full compliance with every applicable DOT standard and regulation
• Verify that all freight is properly loaded and securely fastened before setting out on every trip
• Provide dispatch with prompt, clear, and professional updates and communication throughout the entire length of every run

Minimum Requirements

• Every applicant must hold a current and valid Class A CDL - this requirement is absolute and non-negotiable
• Drivers who have just completed their CDL training are highly encouraged and genuinely welcomed to apply
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time the application is submitted
• A clean and verifiable driving history is a mandatory requirement for every single candidate
• Drug and alcohol clearinghouse record must be fully and completely clear with no exceptions
• Successfully passing a DOT physical examination and drug screening is required before any candidate can begin working
